Dear Fashionable Friends,
I seriously can not believe 2016 is here! It feels like just yesterday I was celebrating 2015. I am excited about this New Year. 2015 was a roller coaster that took me round and round. I must say I learned a lot from the ride. This week Style Ageless turned one! I can’t believe it’s been a whole year. I want to thank you! If it were not for you reading and supporting Style Ageless would not be what it is today.
Have you written your goals for the New Year? I have! Okay, lets be real I write new goals every week. I’m constantly thinking about my future, and what I want to achieve next. I’ve finally accepted that there is nothing wrong with that. I want to encourage you to write your goals out on paper. Not only your long term goals, but your short term goals as well.
I want to challenge all of my readers this year to set a goal to love yourself more. I am challenging myself to this goal as well. It is so easy to become caught up in social media, and what we see on T.V. We have to remember that the images we see are edited, and filtered in many different ways. People choose what they want to post on social media, usually being the best photo.
There is nothing wrong with being called beautiful. There is nothing wrong with accepting compliments, but never rely on these things. Everyone is different, everyone is flawed, and everyone will have their own challenges. Learn your flaws, accept them, and love them. Once you are comfortable in your own skin and love yourself it makes things a little easier.
Ladies you do not need to be a size 2, have a thousand followers, or need a man to tell you you’re beautiful. There is no one definition of beauty.
LOVE YOURSELF, DEAR.
Catch you on the flip side,
